Pre WWII Japanese Tunic

What do you guys think about this tunic? Is it original, and if so how much is it worth?

Kinda suspicious about the boards and collar tabs, pretty big chance it was attached by a collector. Tunic itself looks genuine.
However showa 5 officer tunics are pretty rare because they were mostly converted into Type 98 tunics in Showa 13 so I guess if you buy it at a brick-and-mortar store in Japan you'd get maybe 200~300 or more for it sans insignia, and quite a bit more with.
Maybe at a market you could get 100~300 on it, or more depending on seller.
