          Hi Bruno

Yes. After the war China was left with huge stocks of Japanese equipment. The reissued a lot of it in the late 1940s in the 1950s. This frog was made by the Chinese after the war for use with the Japanese Type 30 bayonet. They also took many Japanese bayonets and refinished them....they made new wooden grips, polished and re-blued the metal, repainted the scabbards and issued them with this new frog. Its possible too that when they Chinese reissued the Japanese bayonet they didn't refinish them all. Your bayonet does not appear to be refinished. It's a nice set for two reasons: the bayonet looks like a nice original Type 30 from an uncommon maker and it's a nice post-war chinese set from the late 1940s/early 1950s.

I'm assuming you bought this from a seller in China? Not a lot of them have come west yet I think

              Nice little finds Bruno!
Checking in Lebar's book this company only made around 300,000 bayonets.
It's kind of funny, Sunday a friend of mine showed me a mint condition Type 38 a relative brought back from Cebu and the bayonet he had with it same maker
