Japanese Mortar

Hi all

Please let me know what you think of the mortar. What type is it? Does it look original? What is a reasonable price for this in todays market?

It's for the Type 89 50mm (aka "knee mortar"). Original, it would probably cost more to make a steel and brass repro than what an original is worth. Looks like the fuse wasn't screwed back together all the way after disarming. If it doesn't screw in, don't force it, might have to clean the threads. Value is usually about $100-200 with a fuse, the more intact the original paint the better.
