    Interesting "transition" Early T98 coat

As y'alls probably know, T98 was introduced in Showa 13, this coat was made in Showa 14 and around that time they were still using quite a bit of Showa 5 uniforms (in China they kept using Showa 5 with T98 insignia until the end) so people did field modifications for the stuff they were issued to match the insignia they had. This seems to be one such example.

The fabric is finer and much better than the wartime or late war T98/T3 coats, but coarser and of a lower quality compared to the Modified Type 45 coat I have.

The colour is closer to T45 khaki than later Type 98/3 "National Defense Colour".
