Tsuba question

Hello guys , I recently picked up a sword that is a mismatched hodge podge of blade scabbard and tsuba ww2 mixed with, i assume Edo period paerts . Rather that guess at what period this is i wanted to get the opinions of the members who know a LOT more than i do about these . Any help is appreciated .

From what ive found i think this is much earlier than Edo . ????

Very common design. Cast tsuba.
