    Killer Japanese Flag Rig

Just a killer example, all original, copper cherry blossom pole topper, the rod breaks down in three pieces.

Not often you come across such great condition. That would be a veteran association flag I believe. Correct? Find it at the SOS?

Yes it is a veterans flag, I have never seen one complete and in the condition before. I picked it up at the SOS show

Nice flag set up! I wonder if its been used at all? Looks like an area to ink a local units name is still blank.

A beautiful flag for sure & of superb construction, if it 's made just like the one I had. Identical to the mint one I picked up in Cleveland, Ohio in 1971, from a war veteran via my ad ( a card ) at the entrance/exit of a super market. I got the flag only, not the pole nor poletop. The lower white corner on each side had 12 black characters. The manager of my employer's Subsidiary in Japan identified the writing as "Imperial Naval Veteran's Association, Nobuhara Factory Branch".
