Unknown Patch

Hello,


This weird hand worked patch was in a collection of good occupation era Japanese police insignia. Frankly it does NOT look Japanese to me, nor police but as everything else was, I am posted in the hope that some Japanese collector might recognize it.


I don't even know which side is up on this thing. The other patches were shoulder patches that were only worn when the USA dictated insignia for the police. Could this be a US patch?


Any ideas would be appreciated.

Dosnt look japanese to me.

looks Italian to me. I had some similar badges that I was told were Japanese Police and turned out to be Italian.
