    Opinion on Purchase

    Hi,

I recently ran into a matching serial # NCO Japanese Army Sword and scabbard from a grandson of a WWII vet. He wants $675. I own very little Japanese items...in fact..I only own a Japanese rifle w/bayonet that my uncle brought back from the Pacific. I always wanted a sword...but I'm not an expert on prices. The blade is in super shape and the scabbard has abot 75% OD color and there is a partial leather knot..on the scabbard.

    Sorry...no pictures.

Hi, If the sword is as you say in super condition then go for it. But remember without seeing any photos any advice you'll be given are almost useless.
    Kind Regards
    Daniel

You are most welcome. I enjoy assisting where I can as part of the payback for the help I've received over the years. It's also just good old fun to help and feel the excitement and enthusiasm when someone gets a new sword in their collection. We've all been there.

                        Regards,
                        Stu
