    Tulsa helmet pickup

Just upped my membership so I can post photos I thought I would post some photos of a helmet I found at the Tulsa gun show. There was a bonus..The net was tucked inside the liner.I like the fact that the "Touch up" paint was the sloppiest I have ever seen!

Great helmet! I love those touch ups when the color is so different from shell! really contrasts! Sloppy just adds more character. Nice added net bonus

With that paint job it looks much better with the net.

Nice Score...looks like they went around with the paint once then slopped it on the front afterwards. Bonus on the net

              great find

Great find! I'm a former Tulsa boy myself. I wish I had been back in my home town for that show; I would have snagged that one myself! It's hard to find the Type 90 helmets with their original nets. Yours has a lot of character. Any known history behind this piece?

              Cheers,

              Mark

                  Hey Mark,Geoff here.

No story other than 'Since it has been repainted I'll make you a great deal, and I'll throw in these 2 cartridge boxes and a mess kit". (2 mint rubberised front cartridge boxes and a super clean painted rice cooker with kanji on it.I would have liked to have stolen them but the guy was so nice I paid the $600.00 he was asking.Perhaps he will call me if he finds anything else
