Sword Stamping Translation

I would like someone to translate these markings for me.
They are on the guard of an 1890s Japanese naval sword.

I am uncertain of the third kanji:
警視麑
Kei shi ??? [this kanji = fawn!]

警視 = Police Superintendant [keishi]
The third kanji MIGHT be "demon/spirit"魔 but I don't think that would be stamped on a sword guard .... or would it?

Okay ... that third kanji is the old-style for "chou" .
廰→庁

警視庁
Keishichou = "Metropolitan Police Department."

Lots of these types look similar and can fool the casual observer. It's always best to include a photo of the entire item up for review.
