Exceptional original photo of GI's with captured Japanese flags and weapons

I haven't posted anything here in a few years, but I am in the process of acquiring a large collection of original photos of Marines, GI's etc. displaying captured Japanese flags and weapons. This is one of the better ones, and I thought the members of this forum would enjoy it. I dont bother with my digital camera or laptop anymore, but use my smartphone for all picture taking, internet, and communication, however I could not upload my photos from my Windows phone, into this thread, so I will just attach a link to the photo on my FB page. The photo is period inscribed on reverse with names of soldiers, and "Luzon Philippine Islands". Of special note is the T99 SNIPER RIFLE in center of photo between the 2 flags. T99 LMG and T97 LMG in left and right foreground. Kneeling GI in center between LMG's is holding T89 Knee Mortar. Great to see you back! I've seen this picture before. It's somewhat well known & controversial because the scoped rifle is actually a type 38 carbine! It's been discussed many times. Please post these pics over on the Japanese board at gunboards.com

Sorry, my bad...didnt realize you had to be a "friend" to see the pics on Facebook. Will get out the digital camera and laptop and post pics sometime in the next few days.

Great pictures of your family, btw. You might want to post pics here instead of sharing your FB site with complete strangers. You've also broadcast your name to the world. You might ask the moderators to fix that for you.
