    Source for Navy Helmet Emblem

On of my hits appears to be a naval helmet. The body is a darker green, with the interior the normal brown color. There is an outline of a naval emblem that is now missing. Is there a source for an original?

    Thank you,
    Bob Hritz

most collectors, including myself tend to hord away lose insignias. Even if you found an original the color would never match & it would look wrong. You can find insignias on ebay from time to time.

I have been offered this helmet emblem. If it is correct, I will buy it. I want to make sure the emblem is correct and the prongs are original to the emblem. I appreciate your help.

I am more concerned with authenticity of the emblem and originality of the prongs. It may be an impossibility to match the exact color.

Looks to be ok, just a little unsure about the bright brass blades.

That is a real badge 100%. Don't worry about that one.
