Worn IJA pilot's wings

This pilot was smart. Rather than sew these wings to his uniform he added the back attachment from a ribbon bar so he could put it on and take it off easily.





A lot of times when I see these wings they look (or are) unissued. This one has definitely been worn.

I had one that the person put snaps on to easy removal...but this way is much more ingenious...very cool!
