I met with the son of a US Navy doctor and he showed me a medical chest. It is about three feet wide, two feet deep, and about 18 inches front to back. The chest has small (about 3-4 inch) white circles with a red cross on the on either end and the back but not on the front. The chest hinges closed much like a footlocker but also has a cloth wrapped rope handle at either end and two white canvas straps that buckle it tightly closed. The chest also features a hasp and closure device much like a footlocker. There are still a number of medical items in the chest i.e. small vials, a roll of guage with Japanese writing etc. I ask is anyone familiar with such a chest and any idea of it's value. Thanks Rich
