Characters on bayonet

Hi. Would anyone know what these characters are? This bayonet didn't have an armory mark but did come (from a vet's widow) with a really nice rifle. This rifle was very clean -- The mum wasn't ground but it looked like someone crudely scrathed out the mum -- almost like leaves on a tree (round of course).

My computer is acting up so I can't seen to resize the riflle pictures yet but anyway here is the bayonet for review.

It's a trainer. Probably brand is name of school or university

The kanji 丹青 read "tan-sei" which by itself means "Red & Blue," "Colors," or "Painting/Picture". However, in this case I think "TanSei" might be a contraction of a school name; e.g. Tanzawa Seinen Gakko. Now, I'm not saying there was a boys' school called Tanzawa Seinen ... but take that as an example.

Seinen 青年 literally means "blue/green years", so someone who is "green" in years is a "youth."

Thanks gentlemen for your time and expertise -- I suspected it might be a school -- here are a couple of shots of the rifle. I believe this is a real rifle though not one of the non-firing ones used as trainers.
