i look for japanese officers boots or ankle boots. Now i found this ankle boots on Ebay.
Are this original officers shoes from the WW2?

How can i see if ankle boots are Army or Navy? Are Army ankle boots always brown?

do a board search for more info. Some Navy late enlisted were brown. Most are black. Best clue is navy boots lack rear "pull up" leather tab in rear/back of boot by ankle & they often have extra lines of stitches along laces
