Keith, Its not always possible to be sure about things from slightly blurry photographs but the paint, late war multi piece leather liner and straps appear orignal. There is no way this is a reproduction but I wonder about the star. From the blurry picture is it just me or does the paint on the star differ slightly from the paint on the helmet? It's hard to tell. Other than that this appears to be an original helmet.

I would be a little more worried about the seller only having 5 feedbacks total. All from buying small items, not 1 as a seller.
