Japanese or Vietnam Stick

Hi John,

According to my reference books looks very much like a Japanese stick. However IMO it is not Japanese.
The stick does not meet the head as the Japanese stick should.
The Japanese stick has the pull cord fixed to a ring that drops out when the cap is unscrewed similar to German M24. Your one appears to have the pull cord embedded in wax of some sort.

However I shall leave final word to better experts.
