Yard sale finds yesterday

I was the last one there . There was much more i was told but those guys left this all behind . Can anyone tell me about the two helmets and the cover ? All look good but i am weary of any japanese helmet covers and the steel helmet ive never seen before as well as the black fiber helmet .

The black one is a fire or a police helmet.

The cover is a dud. These fit on the civil defense helmet; several years ago they started to pop up on civil defense helmets with a cheap metal star replacing the front rivet and were described as "last ditch army helmets."

Yes, the cover is a known reproduction and probably came with one of the bad civil defense helmets near the bayonets in your photo. The other stuff looks ok from what I can tell in the photos.
