    Opinion on Japanese Uniform Please!

    Hello all!
    I need an opinion on this Japanese uniform. It is at an upcoming sale that I am going to. Also what is the red stripe on the chest for?

    Just found the stripe is Infantry. The rank is Sgt Mjr.
    So I guess I really just need an opinion if everything looks good! Thanks

      I'll awit other opinions but interior hand inked kanji doesn't look Japanese. I think tunic was unissued with post war applied insignias

        late war collar tabs with early war branch of service "M" ( red for infantry) incorrect combination imho
