collector books

Are there any good books on Japanese militaria? I find lots of them on Japanese sword collecting but not much in english for general militaria. Any recommendations?

This is a little older thread so there are some other good books that have come out since, but this is a start (also some of these might be pretty hard to find):

The Nakata (recently in a new addition) and Hewitt books are a must.

All these great references and yet we are still missing the "Helmets and Headgear" book. So many great examples and variations in collections today now would be the time to publish one.

aircrew76, how does Nakata's book 2 compare to the original? I heard somewhere the pictures in the second book were of poorer quality? Is there more information in the second book, translations, etc.? Any help from anyone would be appreciated.
