    The serial number is within the accepted range, the markings on the hilt are consistent with what one would expect to see on this type of sword.

    Overall the captioned sword and scabbard appears to be in quite good original condition.

    I have a number of these copper handled NCO swords, most of which are really beat up compared with the one under review.
