Good afternoon guys. Any chance that this net is real? I just don't have experience with these. Based on the new look to it, I am guessing repro.

It's a bad sign to see the net string doubled along bottom edge. Usually means it's a repro. Certainly net was added as it doesn't match condition of helmet either way -

I've noticed that Japanese helmet nets look the same or at least like they are based on the nets used on those big glass Japanese fishing floats.
Personally I think it would be so easy to fake these (or put a nice, well used fishing float or Nakata repro net on them) that I don't really consider them to add much to the value of a helmet. If a helmet has a net, great. If you want to charge me and extra $100-200 because it has a net, you can keep it. But that's just me.Comment
