Japanese 2.5 sniper scope

I had the good fortune of acquiring a japanese 2.5 sniper scope in very good condition #7493. I have now researched this enough to know that they are rather hard to come by.

Here is my question for you, any idea how many were actually manuf. Do they rely sell for $2000
