Japanese Flag

Good morning fellows. I have a chance to purchase this flag and I am trying to figure out fair retail for this one. I also would appreciate some help in identifying exactly what this flag is. The Flag does have a US Intelligence capture tag with it, which is cool for sure. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

I think that it is probably connected to that Japanese sugar cane factory in the Marianas, I think based on Saipan? I couldn't quote value, but it is an interesting piece of history and the first time I have seen such a flag connected to the Japanese presence in the Mandates (Nan'yo). Neat flag!

Nice info link. Interesting to note that "Nanko was
abolished at the end of the Pacific War by order of the
American occupation authorities. The site of its former
Saipan headquarters is now a museum." Wonder why
they were "abolished", maybe due to their "political"
and/or some kind of slave labor or troop support roll?

The company was a Japanese version of the East India Company. All such entities including banks set up outside Japan were automatically closed by law. All the fields were destroyed anyway by the bombing, so it would not have served any purpose to the Americans either.
