    T38 anchor stamp

I was reading on this forum and came across comments about being sure to check for an anchor stamp in the wood behind the trigger guard tang on Type 38 rifles. I checked my T-38 and there are stampings in that area that really don't look like anchors but I want to make sure about what I have. I also searched a little for the significance of the rifles with the anchor stamp and couldn't find anything.....what is the story of the T38's with the stamping? Thanks. (I will keep searching the forum for my answer while I wait for response to my questions).

Thanks for the quick response. I would be interested in seeing a photo of the anchor stamp if you know of one on the forum.
      THanks again.
