Japanese Type 98A Stick Grenade

Here's a nice type 98A stick grenade sent home by a G.I. in the 10th Army. Interesting in that it is ink stamped as passed by a U.S. field examiner. There is a Japanese stamp on the handle and a paint stamp on the head. You can also tell where the paper tag once sat on the head. Thank you JCB for your advice!

Nice! Everything is right. Original paint, Painted endcap variation. Nicely marked. This is the first time I have seen the Field examiner inkstamp on the handle.
