    And this medal is???...

I collect 3rd Reich military items, but like all of us, because of that interest, I run across other things. I know nothing about Japanese medals. I'd appreciate a little help here as to what this is and it's relative value, E-Stand wise.
    Thanx,
    Tim

      Salut,

I think it is the medal awarded for service during the Japanese war of 1904-05against Russia, 1st time a "white nation" was defetead by a "yellow race". My guess the value should be between USD 20/30 ?

Thank you for a swift & informational reply. It is much appreciated. At that price, I'll probably hang onto it as a little memnto of that war. I've read about it and what I find most fascinating about it is that 45 years later, MacArthur used his knowledge of that war and the invasion site of the Japanese at Inchon to stage a fresh landing there. That's what I call using your head and remembering your history and putting it to a good use!!
        Thanx,
        Tim
