    Photo Album, 1930s?

    Hi,

Here are a few photos from the album I recently acquired. The album has about 150 photos and is in poor condition, sadly there is nothing written in it.
I guess the album is from the 1920-30s?

Looks like a "knee mortar" on top of the pack

What kind of uniforms are those?

The few (loose ones) with something on the back

    A Postcard

This one is quite large, ~28x22cm

    What are those guys doing?

    Best,
    Chris

Nice pics., especially the one with the knee mortar on his back! A couple of the stamps point to at least a pic. and a postcard being from 1941 and 1938. The stamps also look to have the kanji for Kempei, so maybe censor stamps or an authorization stamp? The pic. with the three soldiers w/ the 19 on their collars is showing members of the 19th regiment--9th Division. It is an older picture, pre WW2. In the late 30's the 9th Div. fought in Shanghai and was part of the drive toward Nanking.
