    NLF boots

    Ok, here is a rare chance to see two yes two pairs of NLF boots side by side. The first type shown in the rear is what you always see in the majority of photos. The pair in the front are what I would guess what would have been used on the Pacific islands. For those who don't know about the NLF. There was no standard uniform until 37. Uniforms pre 37 were shipboard jumpers and deck boots. With that said I would thik the rear pair were in the time frame of 37-40, and the front 41-?.
    As there are so few NLF photos from the Pacific it is hard to say.
