    Unknown lot of Japanese stuff

    Hello forum...

I bought these at an estate several months ago... and was just too lazy to post photos till now.

The booklet appear to identify enemy planes, and was passed by US censors after capture.

not sure what the other paperwork or insignia might be. If even military at all.

    thanks for the help Robert

                War bond

Can't really read it, maybe a bank savings book?

You already figured the book out

The round patch with the cherry blossom is Navy, the others are charms from shrines carried for luck. The square one with "3" is probably a name tag.

Interesting grouping. Once in awhile those accordian-style folded savings booklets are marked with the soldier's unit number, allowing for unit ID and possibly where the booklet was souvenired. (The dates stamped on the booklet look to be from the mid 30s however, so the unit number might not have been marked on this part. booklet-- if present, it would be near the soldier's written name on the front "cover").

I'll buy the aircraft identification book if you are selling. I'd like to put it into the next Japan at War book.
