    kanji help please

    hi lads, bought wak this morning, removed the tsuka and hey presto!
    signed tang, much appreciated if someone would translate this for
    me i would be very grateful thank you all very much, brenig.

    a really eazy one to to translate, break out the books on this one, hint starts with Bishu.....think theres more of this name than anyother in Hawleys

      I agree. This is a typical kazuchimono signature from the Late Muromachi period.

          Yes

          good work, Bishu Osafune Sukesada....like bob said ...many many Sukesada were made in late Muromachi peroid....Kazuchimono is same as mass produced for the waring states.
