Excellent japanese flag w/bringback papers and inspection stamp

Hello all , i found this little treasure this week and it is the most complete flag ive found to date , it includes the paper work and inspection stamp , it doesnt get any better IMO , the only regret is that the family kept the photograph of the fellow with this flag when he liberated it in the field, non the less i was blessed to get these other photos all from Okinawa . I sure would appreciate any help with the Kanji if those who are gifted with the ability to read it feel so inclined .

This fellow was in the 10 army 27th div. wounded twice and sent back into the field . i am going to try to obtain more info on his history .

John: you might ask the family if they will at least scan the pic and email the digital copy to you, since so many people have scanner/printers nowdays. At least that gives you something.
