Today i went out and found a small group of merchant marine hats and insignia and one of the boxes was full of japanese insignia, i dont think im going to remove the insignia, i think it looks cool the way it is.Are thouse army generals collar tabs in the center?

Japanse insigina
The top center anchor insigina is for a Japanese Naval academy dress hat. I have the cap with this exact insignia.

The top four small brass anchors are for Japanese NCO petty officer dress hats.
