Uniform button identification

Got these from a Marine who was one of the lucky guys assigned to guard the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombing sites during occupation. Mixed in with a bunch of coins. All help appreciated.

Upper left button is most likely for a middle school student's tunic (Chu- 中 for chugakko--middle school)

Only the 2 anchor buttons are military, Japanese Navy. Tom already pointed out the middle school button. The one with the "A" is probably also a school button. The bigger one with a flower could be anything, probably off a woman's coat, maybe another school button.
