Modern made repro, one exactly like this(minus the leather & strings) on Manions. I have several in my collection, as well as TR War flags exactly such as this, exact same size, exact same leather, strings.
    $20.00

After seeing all the pics, I'd say its likely OK. These were not military issued or really used by the military More of a home-front type of civilian flag used in parades and such.

If I could post attachments I could show you all mine, as stated by me. This is a repro.

Give me till tomorrow, I will download the pics to either another forum, or my militaria-relics FB page.

Stains, as we all know are easily faked..i.e. coffee/tea/snot, whatever, as on this repro flag

Just because it's not like yours doesn't automatically make it a repro. These are civilian made flags and they come in a wide variety from many different makers. And sometimes there's just no way to tell when they were made because they were still being made by the same people the same way post-war.
I will say that the way the strings are attached is more common on post-war flags, but, it's not unheard of on war-time/pre-war flags. Personally, if I were looking for this type I'd pass on this one and hold out for one I could feel more comfortable with.

I agree but the seller (Larry)dropted my bid and told me never to buy from him again and do not reply to his message because he is finished with me.I am sorry but I hate somebody telling me I can not speak my mind if I am telling the truth in my country because you are a ebay seller from Japan and you are pissed because I did not want to bid on a questionable flag.Sorry guys I will not be bullied by anybody and I told this Larry guy so.Thanks for all the help.I mean who does this pos think he is telling anybody they can't reply to HIS BS.

Here is a link to my thread I did while back on a similar flag in my collection. just a tad smaller but goes to tell you that these flags were used for many purposes. I would ask him to blacklight it as I know that Nakata makes some very good ones and they do glow under a blacklight.
