This one has the "Prayers for eternal good fortune in battle" on the ribbon and the guy's name on the left, Yamashіta Takeo.

Thanks Papa. I've been dong this long enough to know that if I had thought about it, I would have figured it out. Although it looks different at first sight, the over-all style of the GO2Wbanner , design and colors would generally tell someone that is what it is even w/o the translation. Thanks again. You are getting really good at your translating skills btw.

Gee some (much?) of the Japanese militaria is beautiful. Makes me laugh when the Black & SS or TK items are described the same way.
