Need to identify - Japanese WWII Binocular Case?

Got this from a whole sale lot on ebay. Just started the militaria collecting hobby, so i'm a bit of a newbie.

It was listed as a WWII Japanese binocular case and I want to resell it but I want to properly identify it first. I'm not sure if its really from WWII, might be a postwar item.

About 7 inches in length, 5 inches in height and 2 & 1/2 inches at narrowest width.

It has a bit of wear with red velvet like lining inside.

This red velvet is very typical of both pre and post war bino but never see it in a wartime example, like the stamped motif all around the box let me think that it is a postwar box with the same leather and shape but with some fancy thing the military did'nt need during the war.

IJA officer have to buy a lot of their personal gear themselve, so this could be a civilian one who seen service, but without solid provenance you should consider it postwar as this one really look like 1950 japanese bino you can see on ebay quite often.
