    I finally took the handle off after about 3 years can I get some info from the sword gurus.

            Hi NLF,

            Two or more holes is an indication that a blade may be older and remounted but not always and both those holes look drilled, not punched, to me. It's very difficult to tell for sure though with those little pics. IMHO you would benefit by becoming an Association member and as a result being able to post better pics for more accurate reviews.
