I have an almost identical flag, same type corners and cotton construction. Were these cotton flags made during WWII or were they only made with silk?

I believe authentic WWII period flags can be found made of silk, cotton and even Rayon. Probably other fabrics too. Mike Bortner could elaborate I'm sure.

I can't tell if my flags are cotton or rayon. From a distance it looks like cotton, but up close the threads seam more shiny than cotton. How can I tell?
