    Opinions please. IJN flag, ID'd

Been on a run of bad luck finding things I like lately. I believe this is the piece to break that bad run and comes from a dealer who is a forum sponser. Showa 17 is 1942 isn't it?

Identified WWII Japanese Naval Aviation Cadet Signed Flag. Raw silk body. About twenty by forty inches. The rough translation is GOOD LUCK FOR BRAVERY WELCOME TO THE BARACKS TSUCHIURA NAVY AVIATION BARRACKS SHOWA 17TH APRIL MR IIZUKA AKIO. Has been folded but it is in excellent condition. Tsuchira Navy Aviation Base was the Naval cadet Aviation School.

Don't fall for this one, as I know who wrote it.

I'm about ready to throw in the towel. 3 out if the last 4 items I've wanted have been given the thumbs down. Don't get me wrong, I'm very thankful for y'alls help and saving me some serious money, but geez, is there anything on the market right now that is within my interests and 100% authentic? Nick, you said you know who wrote the flag. Are several others of "his" to be found on eBay, with fewer kanji than your typical authentic examples? Time to sit back and wait for items to come up on e-stand I guess.
