Photo of Women - Translation please?

My Japanese friend says the script on this sign is old style and she can't read it, except the last character may mean "office". Anyone have a better clue?

Yeah, that kind of confirms my suspicion generated by the "KEEP OUT" and "OFF LIMITS" signs.

This photo was taken on Okinawa, sometime after the battle i.e. late 45 early 46....and have seen lots of period copies of the same photo mixed in with vets photo lots. Regards, David.
