Robert, nice and original bayonet! Prices are across the board in this economy. Low is $1500. & highs over $2300. in the "good old days". Dagger is also extremely rare!

            Hello Jareth..

it's been a while since we spoke.

any idea what the dagger might be worth?

Is the holster for a Baby Nambu? Thanks for the help Robert

Robert, no idea on dagger. I only collect bayonets not swords or daggers. Put it on ebay. As someone corrected the edge sharpening on bayonet is factory correct. I hope the grip screws aren't "buggered" ? That will be a downer. Frog counters that. The holster is deffinately NOT for Baby. I'm certain it's Japanese made for foreign purchase pistols such as Mauser 1910, FN Browning, 1903 pocket Colt etc. Might be for rare Inagaki Shiki pistol also. Whatever, it's missing it's front closure strap & isn't in great shape. PS. time to give that para helmet a break put it away for a few months

I think that paratrooper helmet posted out for months at a nosebleed price sets some unrealistic expectations on value for those and prices in general. Doesn't make it any easier for collectors still collecting to purchase items and build a collection. It serves the owner's purpose of getting attention, but really doesn't help anyone else.

congratulations with bayonet, considering frog price should be closer to 2000. Dagger, i'd say between $700 and $900. In pristine condition up to $1100. Saw 1 or 2 on e-bay over couple of years on e-bay...
