Awesome helmet?

Was this helmet a bit overpriced, or is it awesome and I'm missing something? I realize it's a "small" size, but the net looks a bit torn up.

I wouldn't pay that much for it, but you know how eBay can get when you have 2 bidders with deep pockets and their hearts set on owning it. It is a decent helmet.

How did collecting ever get this crazy.

I got two things going against me. I was born too late and I decided to be a school teacher.

I think at this point I might give up on collecting. This is a nice helmet but there is much more you could do with 1200 bucks. You could invest in a gorget.
