That Chinese green paint on the scabbard, grain on the blade, sloppy cast tsuba (although better than many I've seen), unnecessary serial number on the hibaki are all warning signs. Looks like a fake to me, but I've been wrong before so I'll let the experts tell you for sure. I will say those fakes from China are getting a little better each time.
