    Help ID Naval Instrument

A gentleman brought in this fascinating object into my surplus store today. I think it is naval judging from the gray color. I know it is Japanese and the optic portion was made by Takatiho, a well known optics manufacturer. My guess is that is some sort of naval artillery calculator, but that is strictly a guess pulled out of my hat. Any thoughts as to what it is and value. Any suggestions on forums that might specialize in whatever this thing may be. Thanks in advance.

Here is another photo. The instrument is Takahito No 2204. I read a description of an anti-aircraft device that also had drum markings and hand wheels used for calulations, so maybe anti-aircraft and not naval. I spent over an hour on Google last night and came up empty handed.

Randy, neat find! This is a target speed and course-angle calculator. These were used with heavier anti-aircraft guns like the Type 88 and would have been mounted on a tripod.

Interested in parting with it? Let me know
