My Japanese Grenade

I got this from my fathers collection. It's missing the twine, If anyone has a original piece LMK. I did a little searching on the net to find out more about it. I see that the screw at the top you needed to set to hit the primer, Now I shore these came in crate's & I'm shore that the screw was not set at the down position. Was there a little screw diver in the crate to set these with?

Nice grenade. There was a small screw driver that the armorer used to set them in the armed position.

Thanks, it is one of the items I set aside so it wouldn't get sold. Was the screw diver issued with the grenade or was it part of a little tool kit they had on them.

The screwdriver looks almost like a key to open a sardine can but usually grenades are painted red on the top to show it is loaded.
