Photo of Japanese ordnance in ammo dump

Going by the wall and vegetation, I'm making an educated guess this is Okinawa (I was stationed there for a year).

    1. Type 93 Mines
    2. Type 89 50mm ("Knee Mortar") Shells
    3. Model 2 Beach Mine
    4. "Molotov" with "all-ways" Action Fuse
    5. Type 3 Hollow Charge Anti-Tank Grenade

Anyone else have any wartime ordnance photos like this to share?

Type 89 shells in my collection.

Super Pic, I agree looking at the veg and wall looks to be taken on Okinawa...when were you stationed there? Guessing USMC since you were there for 1 year.

      Love it.

Awesome Picture! I also see some grenade shipping tubes in that center box. I'm drooling like Pavlov's dogs.... I hope somebody took that conical anti tank grenade home with them as a souvenir at wars end. I'll see what kinds of pics I have of captured Japanese ammo dumps.
