Japanese IJA question

In another thread, it was discussed that an IJA helmet has a stamp on the rear inside lid. I checked on I recently bought, and there appears a very very faint mark that I cannot tell if it is a stamp or not, it looks sort of like an upside down T but I ain't sure.

I hope the absence of a distinct rear mark stamp doesn't diminish the helmet.
This is on the front of the helmet, above the star, it looks like a circle. Could this be a makers mark, or is it just a blemish or imperfection?

It does, I'm just concerned that I cant find a distinctive stamp on the inside rear

Probally a thick coat of paint covering the stamp inside the rim. Dont worry this helmet is a good one. Circle above star was probally cause from the production of the helmet,Not a makers mark. Was this the helmet that was dated 18 as well? Very nice find Keith

I agree with Michael's comment...either lightly stamped & thick paint has obscurred/cover up stamps. Have no fears it's a legit helmet
