Good book on helmets?

Are there any good books or pamphlets that really cover every aspect of Japanese helmets?

Also, are there "medium" sized helmets and are there any pictures?

No good reference on just helmets. Best info is on this board over the past five years. Medium size army helmets are reported to have been made in very limited numbers. I have never seen one nor do I know of one. Symbol for medium is a box with vertical line through center.

There are lots of small ones around. It would have this symbol 小


These are the symbols for "big" "medium" and "small" that are painted in white on the helmet.

Big- 大

Medium- 中

Small- 小
